Also too bad that they completely slaughtered the story line, threw out 90% of important details, puréed another 8%, and tried with very little effort to fix it by putting a bandaid on it. The movie was so horribly butchered that they got shut down before they could really get started.

In short: the movie is a pile of crap and should not have been made by people who couldn't care less, an the book were just flipping amazing.
